Kentucky agrees with me :) We've been here since the middle of August, and it's been good... We're all adjusting well and happy here. Of course, we miss our friends and church family from Ohio, but life here is good. I was asked to play the piano for our youth service Friday night and asked to go with our assistant pastor and his wife and play for him while he preached an anniversary service at another church... I enjoyed it! Remember how I said I'd be practicing? Well... I have been and it's paying off! I'm happy :)
We've pretty much settled into our lives here. The house is getting there, the girls are enjoying school and Allen is enjoying his new job. We absolutely love our church! We've made great friends already. Some days it seems as if we've been here forever and other days it seems like we moved just yesterday... I just told Allen today that sometimes I still trip on the fact that we live in Kentucky now! LOL
I miss my family everyday... Wish I could call and meet them for lunch. Wish I could go to music practice and play and sing with them. Wish I could see them at any minute. But I guess I'll get used to the changes... Right?
I got an interesting text from a friend about someone's Facebook post... Trying to cause drama. Haven't they heard? I'm living drama free! This right here is a no drama zone! In response to the post I simply quoted my all time favorite movie line... "You have no power here. Now be gone, before somebody drops a house on you too!".
I'll leave you with that :) I feel better having said it :) lol
Over and out! Peace!
